Cockatiels drinking at Redbank Waterhole on Owen Springs Station

I went with Dad down to Owen Springs Station. We had to get up really early and left home before 5 o'clock n the morning. We got to Redbank Waterhole just before the sunrise. We were hoping to see lots of budgies come to drink. Dad took a photo of me when I was trying to take videos of Zebra Finches:

The budgies were everywhere I reckon about 5000, dad thought more like 2-3000, but they wouldn't come down to drink. We moved up the waterhole a bit and the Cockatiels did come down to drink. Here are two videos I took:

Port Lincoln Parrots videos

These Port Lincoln Parrots were sitting on trees near me and then feeding on the ground when I went camping with my dad and my brother at Redbank Waterhole on Owen Springs Station last weekend. I hope you enjoy the videos.

White-necked Heron video

This White-necked Heron was fishing on the edge of the water at Redbank Waterhole on Owen Springs Station. There was also a Great Egret and a Straw-necked Heron and some Grey Teal ducks hanging around. I hope you enjoy the video.

Australian Hobby video

This Australian Hobby was one of a pair that was at Redbank Waterhole when I went camping with my dad and my brother.

Whistling Kites at Owen Springs Station

I went camping with my dad and my brother last weekend. We had fun with the tent, and ate marshmallows over the fire on Saturday night. On Sunday morning I took video of these Whistling Kites. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
