Video of Flock Bronzewings at Connells Lagoon, Barkly Tablelands, Northern Territory
My brother, dad and 4 other people from BirdLife Central Australia recently went to Connells Lagoon Conservation Reserve. There are some special grasses there, and the Flock Bronzewings like the grasses. Late in the afternoon, all of us were sitting at the lagoon with the sun behind us and the lagoon in front of us. I took this video of the birds flying past and then landing on the other side of the lagoon. I hope you like it.

Brown Falcon taking off
My brother, dad and I were up at Connells Lagoon Conservation Reserve. We had seen the falcon from a little bit down the road, and dad had taken some photos. He said to start filming and the falcon might take off as we started moving. He was right.

Australian Magpie gives a lesson to its young on feeding and nest building - video by Moses Waring
These two Australian Magpies were near our caravan site at Victor Harbor late last year (2013). It looked like the older magpie was trying to show the younger magpie how to forage in the dirt for food, and then picks up a stick. I think it was trying to show the younger one how to collect sticks for its nest. What do you think?
Hope you enjoy the video.

Musk Lorikeet feeding on a flowering tree video by Moses Waring
I really love the parrots and lorikeets, they have lovely colours and they can be so funny and they can be noisy too. This Musk Lorikeet was feeding on some flowers in our campground at Victor Harbour in South Australia. I got up early and was looking for birds when this one flew into the tree next to me.
Hope you enjoy the video.

Doongalla Homestead Reserve - videos of Crimson Rosella in tree hollow, Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos and Eastern Yellow Robin
Today our family went with our cousins and aunties and uncles, grandma and grandad and great aunties and uncle and my 100 year old great grandmother (Greatie) to a place in the hills on the outskirts of Melbourne in a suburb called The Basin. We went to a place to have lunch, and there were picnic tables, but it was very hilly. I found some lovely birds there. I love the colours of Crimson Rosellas and I found these ones going in and out of a tree hollow near the ground near one of the car parks:

I also saw these Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos while walking along the road with my Uncle Pete and Dad
And this little Eastern Yellow Robin was in a tree by one of the tracks when my Dad and I went for a walk

Video of Arafura Fantail pair building a nest
My brother, Dad and I saw these Arafura Fantails at Mamukala Wetlands in Kakadu NP building a nest. We sat and waited for them to come back to their nest for quite some time. This is the best video I took. I hope you like it.

Video of Red-collared Rainbow Lorikeets at Batchelor - beautiful colours, lovely steady video
At the caravan park we are staying at, the manager feeds the Galahs and Little Corellas each morning and afternoon. Sometimes, the Red-collared Rainbow Lorikeets come too. Yesterday afternoon they were flying around but didn't come to feed. This morning though, I waited for nearly two hours. Below is a Youtube video of some of the best videos I have ever taken of birds. I think you will agree after watching, these birds really are stunning. I hope you enjoy the video.

Video of Owlet-Nightjar during the day
My brother, dad and I are on a trip to Darwin, Litchfield, Mary River/Kakadu and spent the first night at Lake Woods, near Elliott. After we woke up in the morning, dad packed up our van while my brother and I went bird-watching, he went one way and I went another. I was taking a video of some pelicans when I noticed a Wedge-tailed Eagle. It flew over some trees and I went to follow it. I was in the trees when this thing brushed my shoulder and sat on a branch about 5 steps away from me. It turned out to be a little Owlet-Nightjar, a lifer for me. I hope you enjoy the video.

Black Kite in the back yard with a Crow chasing it off a branch
Yesterday, dad and I went out to the park through the back fence and watched a lot of Black Kites and a few Whistling Kites circling around our place and the park. In this video, a Black Kite swoops in and perches on a branch, has a bit of a look around, and then is chased off by a Little Crow. I hope you enjoy the video.

Cockatiels drinking at Redbank Waterhole on Owen Springs Station
I went with Dad down to Owen Springs Station. We had to get up really early and left home before 5 o'clock n the morning. We got to Redbank Waterhole just before the sunrise. We were hoping to see lots of budgies come to drink. Dad took a photo of me when I was trying to take videos of Zebra Finches:
The budgies were everywhere I reckon about 5000, dad thought more like 2-3000, but they wouldn't come down to drink. We moved up the waterhole a bit and the Cockatiels did come down to drink. Here are two videos I took:
